Copyright

Yesterday I registered for my very first copyright. So if you were planning on writing a book titled Walking Through A Fallen World anytime before I've been gone from this earth for fifty years, you're out of luck!

This is my first comment on your site! But I do like your site a lot! So, how does it feel to have your first copyright? It must be a pretty neat, I guess it would make you feel all "professional" and all. Just don't let it get to your head (just kidding). Is the copyright on the book, or the title. I would think the book as well, but just checking. Do you know which date the book will actually be released, and can we buy it off of you as well? (I heard it is cheaper if you get it from the source). Anyway, you have to let me know when it is released, so I can get a copy!

Oh, I thought you'd want to know. I just made a blogspot, so I wouldn't be anomynous when I posted my comment. I didn't realize it would only take 2 min to make a blogspot. It is just all the time it will take creating, and developing that I don't have right now! Bye, sorry my "note" was so long!

Hey Alice.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, even though you had to sign up for blogger in order to do so. I look forward to keeping in touch more through the blogs!

To answer your questions, the copyright is on both the book and the title. Once the book is published, two copies will appear in the national library and I will own the rights to it as long as I live + 50 years.

I'm not sure yet when the book's release date is. But yes, I will be selling the books as well and it will be cheaper than buying it at most other places. As soon as it is published, you will be able to go to kristenmcnulty.com and either buy a regular copy or an autographed copy (same price). The price range will probably be between $12-$15.

That's awesome though that you want to buy a copy- thanks! I wish I could afford to give all my friends and family a copy. Maybe by the time the next book is published I'll be able to do that! :)

Darn! I was going to use that for the title of my book. Nah! I'm just glad you have the copyright settled.
